With our Autumn Winter 2016 campaign being shot in the Blue Mountains, this gave way to our inspiration in creating the unique Woodgrain print seen across a range of our product. Taking inspiration from pioneer graphic line designer Bridget Riley, this monochrome print is our homage to nature. The beautiful graphic print was cleverly inspired by our Australian heritage and the location of the shoot created a rustic link between the landscape and the earthiness of the print.

The interlocking grains create a visually appealing silhouette that has been created in inverse variations for a different look. It captures the alignment, texture and appearance of the wood fibres from a tree, in black and white. The striking style of the print is balanced through the use of feminine, flowing fabric that is light and breathable. The natural grain of the wood has perfect synergy with the female form and is showcased in key pieces this season.
The print has been featured among a variety of separate pieces that are easily mixed with colour and neutrals to achieve a look to adapt from desk to dinner. If you want to stand out from the crowd or just aren’t afraid of an all over print, opt for the ever stylish Woodgrain Jersey dress. An easy to wear item that will suit any occasion, perfect to pair with a simple black stiletto heel. If you want to break your look up slightly, opt for a block colour and match with your Woodgrain top or skirt adding interest with the bold graphic.
