The romantic, world famous ballet that is Swan Lake returns to the Opera House throughout April. Created by Tchaikovsky over 140 years ago, this timeless classic has inspired numerous remakes and even the Hollywood film Black Swan.

The National Gallery of Victoria really is a year-round attraction with world class offerings catering nearly to all tastes. However, this month will play host to 2 amazing must-see exhibitions:
200 years of Australian fashion presents over 120 works from more than ninety designers. Including collections over two centuries of fashion design within Australia, it will host creations from contemporary designers such as Dion Lee, Ellery and Toni Maticevski as well historic pieces.
The Andy Warhol | Ai Weiwei exhibition features works from these two artists, exploring modern and contemporary art, life and cultural politics. With Warhol’s pieces representing modernity and ‘American Century’ whilst Weiwei showcases more contemporary life within the ‘Chinese Century’.
The Ten Tenors
Rock music and opera would generally seem like an odd fit, however The Ten Tenors don’t seem to think so, and they make it work. This world renowned group mix two extremes of music to bring together such a unique sound mixing classical and rock anthems, bringing you to melodic heaven. Coupled with 10 almighty voices, the experience is like no other and one that will just have to be seen to be believed.
With something on every weekend, the Autumn Festival allows you to take in and enjoy the beauty of the Swan River and Perth Hills. Enjoy the peaceful surrounds of the Eastern region whilst still a stone’s throw away from the city.
